I have yet to make it home with a Simon's baguette intact, so do what I do: buy two. The combination of crusty outside, chewy in, topped with a generous sprinkling of sea salt and a drizzle of butter is simply unfair for those of us trying to keep our carb intake at bay. Simon's is famous for breakfast, lunch and baked goods: these mini strawberry galettes were a hit in my house. Simons says, "prepared dinners to go coming soon." Yay! Not nearly enough take-out in this neck of the woods.
