Five Guys opened last week in East Lyme and everyone's yammering about it. What's the fuss? A perfect and juicy 3 1/2 ounce burger with your choice of toppings (grilled onions, grilled mushrooms, jalapeno peppers) and crispy home-made fries that taste like guess what? Potato. No trans fats and not previously frozen. This is what fast food is supposed to taste like. Warning: order the "little hamburger" or you'll be faced with this double monstrosity; the regular order of fries serves two generously.
